Ilona Kondic had already been modeling for four years when Playboy Croatia brought her to a much wider audience in 2016. Her work had included independent modeling before the magazine selected her for its cover and named her Playmate of the Month for April, giving her one of the most recognizable credentials in Croatian glamour modeling.
Playboy introduced Kondic as spontaneous, outgoing and decidedly uninterested in mapping out every stage of her future. “I live day by day and enjoy,” she said at the time. That easygoing attitude suited a model who described herself as a social person and preferred allowing opportunities to develop naturally rather than following a rigid career plan.
