Rebecca DiPietro’s modeling career began with a nudge from her sister Brenda, who encouraged her to enter a Miss Hawaiian Tropic competition in Mexico. The pageant circuit proved a natural fit, and DiPietro continued competing rather than treating the experience as a one-off adventure. By 2001, she was already comfortable enough in that world to drop into Playboy’s Cancun Spring Break party, an encounter that brought her into Playboy’s orbit before her later online feature.
The momentum continued outside Playboy. In 2004, DiPietro appeared on the cover of Stuff and took part in Mystique magazine’s Mystical Journeys model search, where she was selected as a “Mystique” siren. She returned to the Hawaiian Tropic circuit as well, winning the U.S. Nationals title in 2005 and representing the United States at the following year’s international competition. Her pageant and magazine work gave her a steady glamour career, but conventional modeling was never going to be the only arena she tried.
Professional wrestling supplied the more unexpected turn. DiPietro entered WWE’s 2006 Diva Search and, although she did not win the competition, stayed within the wrestling world as a valet and backstage interviewer. She subsequently appeared on ECW programming until early 2007, trading posed photographs for the faster rhythm of live-event entertainment and television production.
DiPietro returned to competition again in 2008 and won the Miss MET-Rx Model Search, extending a career already built around pageants, magazines, Playboy and wrestling. The pattern is remarkably consistent: she kept entering new rooms rather than settling into one version of modeling. A sister’s invitation to a Hawaiian Tropic contest had started the process; from there, DiPietro turned beauty competitions into a surprisingly varied run through glamour publishing and sports entertainment.
